Terms
Hashly publishes an index of proof-of-work projects and the pools that mine them. Using the site means accepting what follows.
Who runs this
Hashly is operated by Iacopo Bonandi — sole proprietorship “BONANDI IACOPO”, Via Foro Boario 10, 48022 Lugo (RA), Italy — VAT no. IT02776330397. Anything in these terms — a correction, a complaint — reaches us at [email protected]; requests about your personal data go to [email protected].
What the figures are
The catalog is maintained editorially. Where a verified integration is available, network and pool measurements are refreshed periodically from public sources; other values are checked and entered manually. Source and freshness labels describe the available observations. They are not a guarantee of live coverage: figures can be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
Two things are derived rather than entered, and behave accordingly: a pool’s share of a project is computed from the two hashrates, and a 24-hour trend is read off the history we have stored. Where either cannot honestly be worked out, the site prints “—” rather than a number.
None of this is financial or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to mine anything. Check the project’s and the pool’s own documentation before you point hardware or money at either.
Featured placements
Some rows are paid placements. A paid row sits at the top of its list, carries a coloured border and is labelled — the label is the disclosure, and it is never omitted. A placement is bought for a fixed number of days and ends on its own.
Buying a placement does not buy a better hashrate figure, a different share, a favourable description or removal of a competitor. It buys position, and nothing else. A featured row is not an endorsement, a ranking, a recommendation or a claim that the pool or project is better than the ones below it.
Placements are requested through the form on /sponsor and arranged by hand. Sending a request does not create a booking and no payment is taken on this site: we reply, confirm the dates and the price in writing, and book the slot then. The placement runs for the agreed number of days and ends on its own.
Links out
The catalog links to project sites, block explorers, pool dashboards and chat servers we do not run. We do not control them, we do not vouch for them, and a link is not an endorsement. Verify a stratum address against the pool’s own documentation before using it — the endpoints shown here are illustrative.
Discoveries and documented callouts
Radar events are selected and checked manually. Their event date, verification date and first publication date describe different things; adding an older project today does not mean it launched today. Sources can change after we check them.
Callout attribution compares the evidence submitted and admitted for a project. It does not establish who first mentioned it anywhere on the internet. Submission is separate from authorship, verification of a post is separate from control of an account, and uncertain timestamps can produce shared positions. Decisions can be challenged and corrected. See the methodology for the rules; paid placements do not change them.
The leaderboard is an editor-published batch of eligible author counts. A request for privacy is reviewed manually and does not guarantee anonymity. Contact requests go to the editorial team for review; we do not promise forwarding, delivery or a reply.
Using the site
Following projects and reading My Radar do not require an account. Optional daily email updates require address confirmation, include only published Radar updates for your chosen projects, and can be stopped through the preferences link. There is no guarantee of delivery at an exact time. This service is separate from any future beta waitlist.
Please do not:
- extract the catalog in bulk — scraping, crawling for content, or any automated harvesting of the listings;
- probe, disrupt or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits or any other control on the service;
- republish the catalog as your own, or pass our figures off as measurements.
Quoting a figure with a link back to the page it came from is fine, and welcome, and so are search engines that respect our robots.txt. Access may be withdrawn from anyone doing the things above.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not liable for what you do on the basis of what you read here. Mining and holding cryptoassets carry risk, including total loss; that risk is yours.
Your data
There are no visitor accounts. What we record when you browse, submit a callout, send a contact request, ask for a sponsorship or ask for Radar emails is described in the privacy policy; what we set in your browser is on the cookies page. Hetzner hosts the servers and Cloudflare delivers the site, both under their standard data processing agreements.
Corrections
If a figure about your project or pool is wrong, write to [email protected] and we will fix or remove it. We would rather hold nothing than hold something false.
Law and language
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and a dispute with you belongs to the courts of your place of residence or domicile. In any other case the competent court is the Court of Ravenna, Italy. The terms, like the site, are published in English only.
Changes
These terms change when the site does. The date at the top is the last substantive change; continuing to use the site after one means accepting it.
