Cookies
Reading Hashly sets no cookies. There are no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and nothing that follows you to other sites, so there is no consent banner: everything below is strictly necessary for a feature you chose to use.
Cookies
hashly_radar_email— set after you confirm Radar emails or open your email preferences, so this device can manage them without the private link. HttpOnly, kept for up to 180 days. Deleting it does not unsubscribe you.hashly_callout_visitor— a random signed identifier used only to limit how many callouts, contact requests or email sign-ups one browser can send, and only where the server cannot rely on the visitor’s address for that. Set when you submit one of those forms, kept for up to 365 days.hashly_admin— the session of a signed-in editor. Readers never receive it.- Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set its own security cookies (such as
__cf_bmorcf_clearance) when it needs to tell people from automated traffic. They are not used to track you.
Earlier versions of the site set a hashly_sid visit cookie. It is no longer used, and the site deletes it from browsers that still carry it.
Browser storage
Followed projects and the updates you have read in My Radar are kept in your browser’s local storage, on this device only. They never leave it except as the list of project identifiers needed to load your Radar. Clearing site data removes them.
Visit statistics without cookies
Page visits are counted on our server without cookies or browser storage: the address is shortened before it is stored, the user-agent is discarded, and visits are grouped only within one day. The privacy policy explains what is recorded and for how long.
Fonts and third parties
The typefaces are served from our own server, so opening a page does not contact Google or any other font service. The site loads no third-party scripts, pixels or embeds.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data for Hashly in your browser settings. Reading the catalog, the Radar and the leaderboard keeps working. Without hashly_radar_email you will need the private link from an email to manage your subscription.
